Well, it's been a while. My life has been pretty fucking busy, so here's just a quick entry.
I recently started listening to Lucero. They are unbelievably amazing. Southern Rock-meets-Country-meets-Punk. Ben Nichols whiskey-soaked voice is sublime, and just adds to the simple, yet effective, music that ties it all together. If you're wanting a chill, you can listen to them, but they also have the odd upbeat song. The lyrics are ones of heartbreak, then the joys of being alive. Honestly, if you have a minute check them out (if you haven't already). The album "Tennessee" has been mostly played on my iTunes/iPod, and I suggest you do the same.
